2016 become year of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. She released her compilation album KPP Best to celebrate fifth anniversary of her debut. She also give her third world tour called KPP 5iVE YEARS MONSTER WORLD TOUR 2016. The album include songs from her previous three albums and also include song from her 1st EP (Extended Play, Mini album) Moshi Moshi Harajuku. Some songs from her three previous single (Crazy Party Night, Mondai Girl, and Sai & Co) also included in KPP Best.

This album released in two version : regular and limited. Regular edition has 2 CDs on it. A special limited edition comes with third CD of remixes by Yasutaka Nakata, available in 55,555 copies only. This album also has second limited edition that comes with special Halloween themed on October 1, 2016. This Halloween themed album only available in 5,555 copies
